The Other Side of pain

How grateful I am to be on the other side of pain.  I must admit I never thought I would see or experience it.  Yes, I have been through a lot in my life however, Jesus being the son of God rescued me from many things that I could not leave by my own power.  God’s word is truly a light unto our feet (Psalm 119:105) but are we really living in the guidance of His word (John16:13)?

We often plunder over things that happen to us in the past, we dwell on the fact that those things have reoccur more than what we expect them to.  The thought of them reoccurring could cause us to lose hope in the healing which we so desire.  To be healed of something that keep returning is a seed that was sown long before you realize it was there, to receive healing we must first be truthful with ourselves in wanting to know what that seed is and desire to be free and cleansed from the seed that was sown.  In other words, we must face the ugly truth as to why things are happening repeatedly in our lives.  We must want to see the ugly truth so that we can have the power over the ugly event.

To gain power over the ugliness we must trust God’s Word and the Holy Spirit to guide us to all truth (John 16:13) God’s Word speaks of power to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation12: ll).  We must believe that the ugliest thing is our beauty that glorifies God.  We must believe that what use to be shameful is now the stars that sits high in the sky as a symbol of what we have overcome (James 1:2).

When we trust in the Lord with all our heart, He will allow us to see the other side of the pain, the other side of the unwanted event that keep reappearing in our lives.  God grant us grace as we seek Him for His wisdom to break the cycle of reoccurrences.  HIS mercy is unfailing because He desires for us to know HIS ways and walk in HIS path.  (Hebrews 4:16)

That which broken your heart in the past has now become a light to a path of others to become free.  (Matthew 5:16) That place where pain once lived is filled with love and compassion.  We will see where love is needed and grace needs to be applied.  (1 Peter 3:8)

On the other side of pain is now hope for the hopeless and mercy for those who have lost their way to the God who is more powerful than what has them bound.  (1 John 1:9) Now we can ask the Lord to help them because we have overcome the pain.  We can now teach them to call upon the Lord to receive salvation for their soul and began a relationship with our Lord.  (Roman 10:9,10)

On the other side of pain we can truly see what held us back but can no longer hold us because of the love of the Father granting healing through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  On the other side of pain is now healing for body, mind and soul, Wholeness!  (John 10:10)

Prayer:

Father, thank you for allowing us to see the other side of pain.  Thank you for helping us see that being angry with the pain was not healing us but prolonging the unforgiving in our hearts.  Today, we release all hurt and grand forgiveness where it is needed and trust you to heal the brokenness in our hearts, in Jesus’ Name amen!
