“He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.”
Psalms 23:3 NKJV
On this journey, I am encountering many challenges; some I win and others, I have to begin again. However, I am noticing a pattern of scriptures the Holy Spirit is leading me to as I am building a solid foundation to stand courageously and strong. A few days ago, I wrote on the subject ‘Thief or Life.’ As I addressed the characteristics of a Thief, his mission targets every aspect of our lives. The Thief is known to come in when we are unaware, so he is not caught in his criminal activity. The mission is he to steal your confidence in what you are capable of doing. He kills all your activities of building something good and destroys the mission by getting you to abandon your goals and dreams. But Jesus comes to give life to each step we take, regardless of the size of steps, he will always give us life and life more abundantly!
Afterwards, I spoke about’A New Heart’. After experiencing so many disappointing moments, moving forward without healing properly causes the heart to turn into a stone. Yet God keeps HIS promises giving us a new heart and His spirit which gives us compassion for life. God leads us to live in His Righteousness and teaches us to love ourselves.
Today, Restoring My Soul! Imagine all the past negative activities taken place so we can see the goodness of the Lord, today! He Restores My Soul! He gives us what we need to become more than conquerors! He provides every possible tool to help build a solid foundation so nothing can destroy what He has created in us. He restores what was hit, damaged, ruined in a public display. He pulls out all the allegations, shame and restore the joy of our salvation. He brings us back to Himself, back to what really matters. We are His people and He is our Lord! He restores the dreams and desires He placed inside us. He leads us to what is rightfully ours, His path of righteousness where He is glorified. God is wonderful in keeping the main thing, the main thing which is His love for us and His promises. Also, what’s important to you is important to Him. That is why restoration is needed in our souls. God knows all things. So rather we are on a Weight loss journey, building a Business and Ministry, or starting a family or personal relationship, we need God’s new heart, His spirit, and restored souls to lead us on His righteous path.
PRAYER:
Father thank you for your loving kindness towards us. There is no other God who can love us the way you love us. You are faithful to your word. You are faithful to us. Your desire is that we trust you enough to receive a new heart, receive your spirit and allow you to restore our soul. We believe that you raised Jesus back to life, so our life is restored to your plan, your purpose, and your will. We ask for your Holy Spirit come teach us your ways Father. In Jesus’ name, amen.
